Stoke Newington CAAC July 2017

Planning Applications for Stoke Newington CAAC Monday 10 July 2017

2017/2085 81 Lordship Park N16 5UP Replacement of brick pillar and gate with a new pillar and gate (Sissi Yang 02083561352)

We have no objection to the proposals.

2017/1964 Brooke Road (Jct Lawrence Buildings) - N16 7LS Display of illuminated digital advertisement on telephone kiosk. (Robert Brew 020 8356 8059)

We are unable to comments as there are no documents available, but note that we object to the scale of advertisment in a similarly described application with no 2017/2594 but not to the proposed kiosks replacements for a number of BT phone box sites, where the illuminated panels are much smaller.

2017/2549 209-211 Stoke Newington High Street N16 0LH Prior approval for change of use of 209 Stoke Newington High Street from shop (A1 use class) to cafe/restaurant (A3 use class) at ground floor level with opening hours 11:00 to 23:00 Sundays to Thursdays and 11:00 to 00:00 (midnight) Fridays and Saturdays; installation of extraction/ventilation system to rear at ground floor level and erection of flue from ground floor to roof on rear elevation; associated refuse and recycling storage to rear (Tim Wild 0208 356 8253)

We have no objection to the proposals.

2017/2543 1 Garnham Street N16 7JA Retrospective planning application for erection of two fan units on the first floor roof; two fan units on the rear elevation and alterations to the rear ground floor door of the building. (Sissi Yang 02083561352)

We note the general poor state of the affected elevation but feel we have no substantial grounds to object.

2017/2270 26 Queen Elizabeths Walk N16 0HX Erection of trellis on the rear garden wall (Sissi Yang 02083561352)

We have no objection to the proposals.

2017/2594 Telephone Kiosk O/S 222 Stoke Newington High Street N16 0LN Display of an illuminated advertisement panel on telephone kiosk (Robert Brew 020 8356 8059)

We object to the proposal. An illuminated size of these large proprtions are not appropriate in a conservation area.
