2020/1784 Garnham Street Car Park Garnham Street N16 7JA Variation of condition 2 (development in accordance with plans) of planning application ref. 2017/2373 dated 09/04/2020. Amendment is to change from 7 to 8 self-contained residential units including reconfigured access to ground floor units, revised fenestration on northern elevation, new secure entrance gates to front and rear, amended core/riser configuration, additional bedroom to flat 04, alteration to stair well roof light, removal of glazed canopy to the rear access, and private amenity space in place of entrance terrace to flat 02. We have no objection to the amended proposals save to point out that the consented scheme is without any conditions or details relating to the street trees which are to be removed and replaced. There is no officers' report available to explain this. As plenty of time has passed to have sought the agreement of Hackney's street trees department, this amendment ought to resolve that matter through an additional condition or a revision of the drawings to agree the detail. It is vital the replacement trees are planted before occupation or the use commences and that the species and management is agreed with the Council.
