Membership rates (per annum)

Individual £15.00
Family (two adults at the same address) £25.00
Concessionary Individual (in receipt of State Pension or Unemployment Benefit, or under 16) £10.00
Corporate membership £100.00
Third Sector and Voluntary organisations £40.00 or via membership swap (subject to agreement)

Join instantly online

You can join instantly and set up an annual recurring payment via direct debit using GoCardless or using a credit, debit and other methods via PayPal.

Join via annual Direct Debit (PREFERRED)

Joining via Direct Debit is quick and simple using GoCardless – simply follow the relevant link below, enter your name, email address and bank details and you’re done. You can cancel the direct debit at any time and GoCardless will email you at least 7 days before renewal to give you a chance to review your direct debit.

For other classes of membership, please email us and we’ll set you up with the relevant Direct Debit.

We’ll email you within a couple of days to welcome you. Get in touch with us if you don’t hear from us or if you want to use a different postal address for correspondence to the one you entered when joining, or are buying membership as a gift.

Join via annual PayPal – for credit cards, debit cards or other PayPal methods

To do this you will need a PayPal account and can pay by credit, debit card, or bank account that is already linked to your PayPal account or you can use your existing PayPal balance. Choose the class of membership from the drop-down box below and click ‘Subscribe’. You will be charged for a one year membership instantly, then again at the same time each year thereafter. If you just want to join for one year only – click here. You don’t need to have or set-up PayPal account to pay for a single year of membership by credit or debit card, but you have more payment options if you do have a PayPal account.

Joining by cheque, internet banking or standing order

We’d prefer you to pay by Direct Debit or PayPal, which reduces our admin. However if you wish to set up a standing order or by internet banking, then please email us for our bank details. Or to pay by cheque (payable to ‘THE HACKNEY SOCIETY’), use the contact details below.
